November 29, 2021

Prologue Performing Arts hosted their virtual annual general meeting on November 15, 2021 and welcomed three new board members including Britta Badour (otherwise known as Britta B.), award-winning artist and professor of Spoken Word Performance at Seneca College, Stephanie Provato, a Media, Entertainment, and Sports lawyer at Denton’s law firm, and Tim Walker, School Visits Manager at Harbourfront Centre and part time professor at Centennial College in the Arts Education and Community Engagement Post-Graduate program.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new members to the Prologue Board of Directors. They all have a passion for the arts and will undoubtedly contribute to our mission of providing access to the performing arts to students across Ontario as well as providing their own expertise to the organization” says Hasan Makansi, Prologue Performing Arts Board President.

Prologue Performing Arts also celebrated the impactful work of long time board member Pat McCarthy, who has decided to step down from the board after more than 20 years of dedication.

Pat has been a part of Prologue in many different capacities throughout the years; as a consultant, board member, and administrator. She also led the programming committee as the Chair for many years. Pat has touched the lives of thousands of students through her work with Prologue and she will be greatly missed.

Prologue Performing Arts is a not-for-profit charitable organization that facilitates access to performing arts experiences in schools and communities across Ontario since 1966.
