A smorgasbord of FREE, family fun will be served up Monday May 25 at 7 p.m., when the Prologue Children’s Festival for the Arts presents a jaw-dropping variety of award-winning Canadian talent at the Young People’s Theatre! 

The entire event will be hosted by members of the energizing improv troupe, Dufflebag Theatre, with their theatrical take on fairy tales. 

The Festival is a special preview showcase highlighting the great talent that young audiences are treated to throughout the school year! 

On stage will be 3x JUNO nominated (very) vocal quartet CadenceNew Zealand’s Kahurangi Maori Dance Theatre2x JUNO nominees Sultans of String (as a special treat, they will meet the electricity of sitar master Anwar Khurshid in an innovative collaboration), actor/playwright Leslie McCurdy and her historic tribute to Underground Railway conductor Harriet Tubman, and Little Pear Garden Collective (Canada’s foremost company of traditional and contemporary Chinese dance) with their Tales of Goddesses and a Painter.

The Prologue Children’s Festival will be a fun and lively night of well-rounded entertainment for the entire family at a price — absolutely free – that you can’t afford to miss out on.
