About The Gumboot Kids
In 2011 the show’s creators–filmmakers Eric Hogan and Tara Hungerford set out to make the kind of TV show they’d want their children to watch. They combined their love of nature with the yearning they felt to slow down and connect with each other and the natural world in a more meaningful way. They dreamed up The Gumboot Kids. Four years later… Scout & The Gumboot Kids premiered on CBC Kids. The Gumboot Kids airs on CBC, on ABC Australia and in the U.S. on streaming platform, Curious World. Plus, two new spin-off series have launched, Daisy & The Gumboot Kids, and Jessie & The Gumboot Kids.
