Prior to joining the Royal Conservatory of Music, she worked as the Vice President of Business for the Arts and has been recognized as a driving force behind the unprecedented growth of the artsVest™ National matching program and been credited for her instrumental role in the tremendous success of it. She has guided the program through six years of major national expansion designed to stimulate private sector investment in the arts through matching incentives and comprehensive sponsorship training. She was responsible for securing over $14M out of the $15.6M total funding to deliver the program nationwide.

Prior to joining BftA in 2011, Aida was the Executive Director of the Barthelmes Conservatory of Music in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she transformed an organization on the verge of collapse into the most prestigious Music Conservatory of its kind in the region by instituting and implementing a new strategic vision and operational model of two distinct and vital divisions with over 860 students and 35 faculty members. The school is currently considered a “Junior Julliard” in the region and impacts hundreds of young musicians and their families. Aida is a passionate advocate of increased awareness and funding for the arts.
