On behalf of the Board, it gives me great pleasure to share with you that Maria Williams will continue leading Prologue as the full-time Executive Director. She will continue to position Prologue as a leader in Arts in Education while adapting to the changing landscape, delivering programs that positively impact young people, and diversifying & growing our revenues. – Hasan Makansi, Chair, Board of Directors

The last year has been challenging, but it has also been exciting to find success while learning new ways of doing things. We were calling it a year of survival, but we found that we actually thrived in many ways. Maria’s dedication and commitment to the organization and its mission, and the guidance she offered as we navigated the virtual landscape has been absolutely vital.

Over the last year, Maria has led Prologue through investing in digital and diverse programming, adapting to accommodate the varied needs of educators, students, and the community. Because of this, we are able to remain a constant in the lives of children and youth. In the year ahead, we look forward to renewing initiatives that promote equal arts access, revitalizing  programs that were not so easily adapted, and creating new ones, in order to continue delivering positive, impactful, and accessible performing arts experiences to all young people. 

We are thrilled to have Maria on board as we begin this season of recovery and renewal!
