More teachers are turning to Pinterest for inspiration

It is easy (and free) to open a Pinterest account. Read our post Pinterest explained to my daughter to get started.

When the number of education-related pins reached 500,000 DAILY, Pinterest decided it was time to take this market more seriously. They’ve created the account Teachers on Pinterest (you’ll need to open an account on Pinterest to see that page). It is filled with themed boards.

Pinterest has teamed up with Edutopia to build up the education community on Pinterest. Guess who’s behind Edutopia? The George Lucas Educational Foundation! You know? George Lucas? Star Wars?

Of course, it made sense that Prologue would jump on the wagon too. We will be adding boards to our Pinterest account to complement our companies and artists performances so schools can make the day of their visit a special day for the students!
