Bragging alert!
Last spring, Prologue’s own classical dancer and choreographer Menaka Thakkar won the prestigious Walter Carsen Prize for Excellence in the Performing Arts.

In April 2013, she also received a Governor general’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement (along with violonist Andrew Dawes, producer Daniel Lanois, film maker Jean-Pierre Lefebvre and actor Eric Peterson. This honour comes with a $25,000 cash prize for each laureate. Now, that’s grand!

Which means that by booking her company’s performance Prince Rama in the Wilderness for your school, your students will be initiated to classical Indian dance and storytelling with the best canada has to offer. Watch Prologue’s clip on YouTube.
