Prologue Programs
Britta B. is a poet and spoken word performer. Her performance Rebel with a Rhyme uses poetry performance and storytelling to promote empowerment and resiliency as platforms for creative and thriving communities. Students are inspired and encouraged by Britta’s personal stories of perseverance.
Luca Patuelli, aka Lazylegz achieved worldwide recognition for his personalized dance style which incorporates his incredible upper body strength and the use of his crutches. His motivating and highly-engaging dance workshop encourages students to ‘adapt, stay positive, and learn to do things your own way’.
Critcally-acclaimed author and storyteller Rukhsana Khan offers captivating presentations that tackle overcoming adversity and discrimination. Throughout her talks, she shares some of her award-winning books that also explore South Asian culture, and issues surrounding poverty, immigration, and family.
Carlyn Rhamey is a storyteller, comedian, disability advocate, and a co-founder of Squirrel Suit Productions. In The ADHD Project, she uses storytelling and comedy to share the triumphs and trials of growing up with ADHD. This intimate and honest journey celebrates neuro-diversity and the things that make us all different.
