Prologue Performing Arts announces that Tim Whalley, the organization’s Executive Director, will be taking a one-year leave of absence to embark on an exciting journey with his family. Prologue’s Board of Directors wishes Tim well as he undertakes a trip to Vietnam to accompany his wife – who will be joining the faculty of an international school – and children starting in early August. Tim will work with Prologue’s board and staff to ensure a smooth transition as an Interim Director is hired in late summer and will serve in that role for the duration of his leave.
Since joining Prologue in January 2018, Tim has played an important role in managing the operation, growing fundraising revenue, bringing a range of exciting and diverse artists onto the roster and developing a series of new special projects. Tim has also contributed to a new multi-year Digital Plan that will help artists connect with young people through dynamic and interactive performances and workshops to be launched this year through Performing Arts Learning Online.
“As an experienced executive, Tim has been instrumental for the success of the organization. He has a firm grasp of what it takes to implement the organization’s strategy as well as lead the day to day operations. The board of directors supports Tim Whalley and his family in their new journey” said Hasan Makansi, Chair of Prologue’s Board of Directors.
