DuffleBag Theatre returns for another fun filled and hilarious season of interactive storytelling theatre. Since 1992, “the nearly world-famous” DuffleBag Theatre has wowed audiences of all ages in theatres, festivals and schools across the country.
In their hilarious and refreshing adaptations of fairy tales and Shakespearean classics, audience members are invited into the show to play the main parts! The resulting excitement and spontaneity creates an uproarious experience for all and forms a perfect introduction to traditional fairytales/folktales and the classics.
With Dufflebag Theatre, the dream of living a fairy tale actually does come true!

Fully bilingual actors fuse French and English to perform original adaptations of familiar fairy tales with linguistic wit and humour. Using a carefully crafted blend of languages, coupled with a variety of visual cues, DuffleBag Theatre: en Français! enables students to use their French language abilities in a dramatic, meaningful and unforgettable experience.
This unique, bilingual, theatrical performance engages audiences of all ages. Students (et quelquefois les professeurs) are asked to come up on stage to play the main parts, with supportive guidance from the narrator, while the audience responds verbally en français to cues throughout the show. In this bilingual performance, everyone's dream of living un conte de fées can come true!
