A little star finds his twinkle in this charming story that comes to life through drawings and music. In this hopeful tale, the audience explores how feelings can be expressed through music, word patterns and images, allowing the audience to create rhythms and accompany a melody. This performance, by one of Canada’s finest concert saxophonists, will reveal the relationships between beat, rhythm, melody and music making while celebrating the various personalities of the saxophone family of instruments.

Willem Moolenbeek provides a memorable music history lesson. With his family of saxophone instruments, he expertly performs a range of music from the Baroque through the classic, from jazz through to the blues. The soundtrack delivers rocking blues and subtle jazz, delivering an inspiring array of sounds and music that brings added depth and richness to Canada’s longest running touring play for children and their families.
