Infinitus consists of three award-winning young musicians from Canada and the United States. The trio comprises violin, viola and cello and presents an eclectic repertoire including everything from Mozart to vocal beat-box and TV show theme songs. The performance enhances cognitive skills and musical appreciation and stresses listening skills. Students learn the identical but distinct parts of a canon, the differences yet similarity in the movements of a theme and variations from a Scottish lament to the rhythmic complexities of hip-hop.
