The classical music of India is one of the most fascinating and exciting musical traditions from around the globe. Autorickshaw is a world music ensemble steeped in the traditions of north and south Indian classical music.

Autorickshaw uses a variety of instruments including voice (singing and vocal percussion), tabla (north Indian drum), kanjira (south Indian drum) and tamboura (drone instrument) to create a dynamic and interactive experience for smaller groups. Songs and Rhythms of India will include traditional repertoire with a focus on melody and rhythms as well as interactive call and response using vocal percussion, drumming and singing.
